I have been breeding dogs for 50 years with some showing early on. I started with Cocker and Springer spaniels but changed to Golden Retrievers when my children came along as I wanted the safest family dog to bring them up with. Now I concentrate on breeding the best family pets and some obedience training. All my dogs have been tested for every possible health test for Golden Retrievers. We only breed with healthy dogs that have good hip and elbow scores, clear heart and eye tests and Full breed DNA profile at Orivet.
I have adopted the “Puppy Culture” practice of Early Neurological Stimulation and enrichment exercises. This program produces amazingly resilient, confident, enrichment seeking puppies who develop into well rounded, outgoing, operant adults that are happy, socially successful, and trainable dogs.
Our home is on a lovely farm of 16 acres in the Central West NSW near Orange where my dogs can play and swim.
